I am a research scientist at Meta. I received Ph.D. at ECE, Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Bohyung Han. My research focuses on developing reliable, safe, and trustworthy machine learning systems across various applications. Beyond research, I am also interested in interactive media art, ambient sound, and brand experience design. I worked at Meta in 2022 and at Adobe Research in 2019 as a research scientist intern.


[Jan, 2025] Our compatible learning paper has been selected as an oral presentation at WACV 2025.

[Dec, 2024] I joined Meta as a research scientist.

[Dec, 2024] Our paper about image denoising is now available on project page.

[Nov, 2024] Three papers about unlearning, compatible training, and robustness are accepted to WACV 2025.

[Oct, 2024] Our artwork <The Operator: Notated Human> won the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2024, featured at Red Dot 2024 Highlights.

[Aug, 2024] I received the Distinguished Ph.D. Dissertation Award from ECE, Seoul National University.

[May, 2024] Source code of FedRCL is now available.

[Mar, 2024] I will participate in CVPR 2024 Doctoral Consortium.

[Feb, 2024] Our paper about federated learning is accepted to CVPR 2024.
